Traffic will be diverted along several avenues and streets in central Buenos Aires today as a result of the International Women’s Day march, according to Buenos Aires City government.
From 4 p.m. feminist organizations and unions will gather at the intersection of 9 de Julio Avenue and Avenida de Mayo, near Plaza de Mayo, the Supreme Court, the intersection of Avenida de Mayo and Salta and Alsina and Entre Rios Avenue to march to Congress.
Traffic will be affected between Córdoba Avenue, Leandro Alem Avenue and Paseo Colón, Belgrano, and Combate de los Pozos.
Detours for individuals and public transport heading north will be along Sarandà Street, Belgrano, and Paseo Colón/Leandro N. Alem.
Southbound traffic will be diverted along Leandro N. Alem, Córdoba, and Riobamba. Transitability of the 9 de Julio Metrobus will be prioritized.
