Vera Carothers

Vera Carothers is a journalist and writer based in New York. She holds an M.F.A. in Writing from Columbia, and her work has appeared in The New Yorker, NPR, The Brooklyn Rail, and Lux Magazine. In 2025, she was a Fulbright grantee in Argentina, where she documented the performing arts as a tool of political resistance. More information about her work is available at veracarothers.com.
