Lollapalooza Argentina: Blink-182 and Arcade Fire to headline 2024 festival

Some of this year’s top acts include Sam Smith, SZA, and The Offspring, among many others

The line-up for 2024’s Lollapalooza Argentina is officially set.

On Tuesday, organizers announced that Blink-182 and Arcade Fire will perform on Friday, March 15 — the first day of the concert — followed by SZA and Sam Smith on Saturday, March 16, and Limp Bizkit and Feid on Sunday, March 17. This will be Blink-182’s first show in Argentina.

The Offspring, Phoenix, and Hozier will be performing on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, respectively. Lollapalooza Argentina will also feature a bevy of local acts, including the trap artist YSY A (Friday), the pop group Miranda! (Saturday), and the rapper Oney1 (Friday), among many others.

Next year’s concert will mark the ninth Lollapalooza in Buenos Aires. Past performers include Drake, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Eminem, The Strokes, Lana Del Rey, Kendrick Lamar, Fito Paez, the Killers, and Rosalia. Around 330,000 people attend the event each year.

Conceived by Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell as an itinerant music fair, the first Lollapalooza was held in 1991 in Chicago’s Grant Park. Today, it’s one of the biggest concert events in the music industry, with annual shows in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, France, Germany, Sweden, and the United States. In 2022, India became the eighth country to host the festival.

Daily tickets are still available and can be purchased for as little as AR$50,000 (approximately US$140 at the official exchange rate, US$51 at the MEP dollar rate.)

Lollapalooza Argentina will take place from March 15 to 17 at the Hippodrome in San Isidro, which is located on Bernabé Marquez 700.
