La Chocolaterie
June 28 and 29 — 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
La Rural – Pabellón Ocre
Tickets available online

Did you know Argentina is one of the largest chocolate consumers in Latin America? Every Argentinian consumes, on average, 2 kilos per year — which honestly doesn’t sound too much. La Chocolaterie is an annual event that brings together leading Argentine chocolatiers and manufacturers, as well as international specialists, to celebrate the local chocolate industry.
Featuring more than 70 producers, the event will offer attendees a chance to take part in tastings and pairings while also discovering the latest market trends.
If you’re in Buenos Aires, you should already know all about bodegones (if not, you can check our very illustrative story about the Herald team’s favorite ones).
Bodegonmanía brings together 34 restaurants so food enthusiasts can celebrate and enjoy a special pasta dish for two for AR$13,000.

You can purchase shared-dish tickets in advance at a promotional price through Passline. Each dish comes with a QR code that customers must produce once they arrive at their chosen venue in order to get their food and enjoy one of the most heartwarming food traditions in Buenos Aires.
Participating restaurants include Barcelona Asturias, which will offer homemade potato gnocchi with Bolognese sauce; Chicha Bodegón, where you can enjoy homemade pasta with veal meatballs; and La Caldera, which will feature ravioli stuffed with braised ossobuco, gratinated with Parmesan cheese, and accompanied by a smooth pink sauce.
Feria Salvaje
June 28 and 29
Regimiento de Granaderos, General Manuel N. Savio 499, Buenos Aires
Tickets starting at AR$95,000

A current trend in the local winemaking scene, natural wines are the result of spontaneous fermentations and minimum interventions (i.e., filtering, clarifying, etc.). This event gathers over 80 natural and biodynamic producers from all over the country, offering 150 (!) different wines.
Expect conferences and wine tastings to learn different aspects of each wine, region, and winemaking method. Every ticket includes a free tasting of every wine you find in the fair, as well as the Feria Salvaje collectible wine glass.
Some key tips: come early (there are lots of wines to try) and, most importantly, hydrate yourself like a wise person should (you can bring your own bottle and fill it up with free water as many times as you want). In the words of the organizers, “Wine pairs better with water, not with a hangover.” Cheers!
