Buenos Aires is starting to get cold — at least by our South American standards — so we made sure to come up with some entertaining, inspiring and belly-warming indoor plans.
Here’s our Buenos Aires recommendations for this weekend. Be advised: they’re all suitable for dads, so you can also treat yours on Fathers Day next Sunday.

Luis Felipe Noé Tribute Exhibition
June 11 to September 29
MALBA (Av. Figueroa Alcorta . 1st Floor

A master of chaos and color, renowned Argentine artist Luis Felipe ‘Yuyo’ Noé passed away this year. He left behind a huge, groundbreaking body of work that has been a synonym of vibrant, energetic tones and political commentary.
The Buenos Aires Museum of Latin American Art (MALBA) will showcase five of his pieces, dated between 1962 and 1965. Expressing the paradigm crisis of modernist painting, they illustrate his notion of “divided frame”, which challenged unity by introducing cracks on pictorial atmospheres as well as everyday materials that exceed traditional painting, such as wooden boxes, plastic and metal, among others.
While you’re there at Malba, take an opportunity to check out the last days of the exhibition Kuitca 86, focused on the work of Guillermo Kuitca, one of the most renowned Argentine contemporary artists today.
