There was no room for fans of CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso in London.
So, the Argentine duet had to find a bigger venue. Twice.
The artists presented Baño María, their debut album together, to a sold-out crowd of 1500 people, their first-ever show in the UK capital. Their London debut came after an impressive surge in global popularity, largely thanks to their performance for NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts in early October, which has garnered over 17 million views on YouTube to date.
Demand for tickets to the duo’s London show was so high that their venue had to be upgraded, and upgraded again. Initially set for a 250-capacity venue in Soho, the show was moved to The Garage in North London (600 capacity) before ultimately settling at Electric Brixton, which hosts five times more people than the original venue. The unexpected change in venue speaks to the growing reach of their music, which, as the duo has mentioned in interviews, has expanded to include fans of all ages — “even grandmothers,” they joked.
The duo, who have known each other since childhood, began collaborating in 2010. In their teenage years, they were part of a progressive rock band, where Paco played drums and CA7RIEL played guitar. Yet in recent years they each pursued solo rap careers. Together, they now define themselves as “de-generados” — a term they explain as a rejection of traditional music genres, embracing a free, genre-defying approach to their art.
The band took the stage just before 9 p.m., kicking off the set with one of their biggest hits, “Dumbai”, followed by “Baby Gangsta” from Baño María, both of which had previously been featured in their Tiny Desk session.

The duo spent much of the performance seated at the front of the stage, with CA7RIEL playing guitar on several tracks. Known for their extravagant, glam style, the duo’s fashion was as bold as their music. The set featured a mix of tracks from Baño María and their solo material, blending electronic, hip hop, urban, and funky styles that turned the venue into an all-night dancefloor.
The energy peaked during high-octane tracks like “La que puede, puede” (also a Tiny Desk version) and “Sheesh”, which led into “Diablo.” At this point, the duo and their nine-piece band stood up and danced, filling the venue with an infectious party atmosphere. Vibrant laser lights intensified the mood, transforming the night into a full-blown clubbing experience, and getting the British-Latin American crowd jumping. “Ola mina XD” closed the main set, with the pair thanking the audience in both English and Spanish.
The encore reignited the energy with a trio of tunes: “OUKE,” “El único,” and “Cono hielo,” leaving the crowd energised and eager for more.

Before leaving the stage, CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso reminded the crowd that tickets for their next London show, scheduled for June 2025 at the Roundhouse, would be going on sale this week.
“We can’t believe it. Jimi fucking Hendrix played there, man!,” CA7RIEL exclaimed.
Following their London show, CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso’s Baño María 2024 European tour continues with sold-out gigs in Berlin, Porto, Seville, and Granada.
