Argentine trap star Duki released his latest album, Ameri, and announced a 2025 tour at a first-listening event held at the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires last Thursday.
The 2025 Ameri World Tour, his biggest so far, will see Duki officially presenting the album in over 15 countries, including Argentina, the United States, the UK, Italy, and Mexico.
“I didn’t do this to become famous and have money, I do this because I love it. I want to thank my family for everything they have taught me, and thanks to all of you for your trust in my dream,” he said at the Movistar Arena to more than 15,000 fans.
A self-homage to his career from his early start on freestyle battle El Quinto Escalón until reaching rap stardom (including sold-out performances at the Santiago Bernabé stadium in Madrid last year), Ameri was produced by Duki himself alongside usual sidekicks Yesan and Asan.
Ameri features an array of collaborations with international stars, including Myke Towers, Milo J, and Wiz Khalifa, among others. Collaborators include Bizarrap, who produced the track Buscarte Lejos, a song the Argentine trap pioneer wrote about his relationship with his current girlfriend and pop star Emilia Mernes.
“Ameri is the dreams and the goals, the search to grow and improve,” Duki stated in a press release.
On its first day online, Ameri became the most listened-to Argentine album in 24 hours, reaching 13.5 million replays. All of the album’s 15 songs charted in Argentina’s Top 25. Tickets for the tour dates will be available for presale on December 7th at www.duki.com.ar. General tickets will be on sale the next day.
