Argentine trap star Nicki Nicole confirmed the dates of her upcoming US tour, which includes shows in New York, Miami, Houston, Dallas, Chicago, San Diego and Los Angeles, between late September and early October.

Nicole’s US dates will follow a 12-show tour in Spain that gathered 500,000 people in her concerts in Zaragoza, Gran Canaria, Sevilla, Málaga, Almería and Asturias.

Born Nicole Denise Cucco, singer-songwriter Nicki Nicole jumped to international fame in 2019 with her single Wapo traketero, which quickly became a viral hit with millions of plays on YouTube. Nicole perform it live on The Tonight Show alongside Puertorrican singer Lunay, in what became the first live performance of an Argentine artist in that show. Another one of her songs, Ella no es tuya, was recommended by former US President Barack Obama on his annual recommended playlist of that year,

That same year, she was also featured in the BZRP Music Session #13 of Grammy winner Bizarrap, with whom she collaborated several times since then, including in Mamichula, alongside Trueno, with whom she was romantically involved. Her breakup with the Argentine rapper inspired No voy a llorar, the first single of her latest record Alma, the only Argentine album within the top 100 best albums of that year by Rolling Stone.

Earlier this year, her relationship with Mexican singer Peso Pluma made headlines when footage of him with another woman went viral on social media.

Nicole is set to be one of the headliners of the Buenos Aires Trap festival alongside Bizarrap, Duki, and Cazzu. The shows are scheduled for December 7 and 8 in Buenos Aires’ Parque de la Ciudad.
