Ignacio Ortiz Vila is a lecturer at Universidad del CEMA (UCEMA) in Buenos Aires, where he teaches MBA courses on international business, global value chains and Asia–Latin America relations. His work focuses on economic development, middle powers and South–South cooperation, with a particular emphasis on Southeast Asia. He regularly writes and comments on international economic affairs and has conducted academic and institutional work in Indonesia and the broader Asia–Pacific region.
