Argentine football giants Boca Juniors and River Plate are facing off today in the 2023 Copa de la Liga Profesional Argentina  — the world-renowned Superclásico.

The classic clash between Xeneizes and Millonarios at Boca’s La Bombonera stadium headlines the weekend of derbies, often called Fecha de Clásicos: here’s how you can watch it live.

The game is at 2 p.m, with Andrés Merlos as referee. In Argentina, both ESPN Premium and TNT Sports will broadcast the match live, requiring a subscription.

And there’s one 1919 game that ended 0-0 but it’s not usually counted since the entire tournament was canceled. Boca currently sits in ninth place in group B with seven points, and has a tense series of upcoming games: the Superclásico is sandwiched between its Copa Libertadores semi-finals clashes with Palmeiras on Thursday and then on October 5. For its part, River occupies fifth place in group A with 10 points, having already been eliminated from the international competition.
