Manchester City announces global partnership with tech company Veritran

The Argentine company will work to improve processes and transactions for fans

English football giant Manchester City announced a global partnership with Argentine technology company Veritran on Thursday. 

Joining as the Club’s Official Fan Identity Partner, Veritran’s technology will be integrated with City’s existing digital infrastructure to improve processes and transactions to provide a better memberships and ticket purchasing experience for fans.

“This partnership represents a historic achievement for Veritran, as we become one of the first LATAM technology companies to partner with Manchester City,” said Veritran Chief Commercial Officer Marcelo Fondacaro. He went on to add that the Citizens, as Manchester City are known, share the company’s passion for innovation and excellence, and bringing their experience to the world of sport.

According to a joint statement from the club and the company, over 50 million people use Veritran’s technology and solutions to enhance their digital experiences in Latin America, the United States and Europe.

City Football Group’s global partnership sales vice president Kaitlyn Beale highlighted City’s efforts to be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology and innovation and continually optimize the experience for fans.

“We are very excited about Veritran’s products and solutions and look forward to working together to implement this technology in the coming years,” she added.

Manchester City is one of the biggest clubs in modern football. Under the leadership of head coach Pep Guardiola, they have won the English Premier League in six out of the last seven seasons, while also lifting the UEFA Champions League title in 2022-23.
