Unemployment plummets to 7.3% in second quarter

The unemployment rate dropped to 7.3 percent in the second quarter from the 7.9 percent reported in the same period last year, the Indec national statistics bureau reported.

During the first quarter of the year, the unemployment affected 7.4 percent of the active Argentines.
