Shopping mall sales climb 10.4% in May

Shopping mall sales increased 10.3 percent in May in comparison to the volume registered in the same month last year, according to a report by Indec national statistics bureau.

In comparison to April 2011, sales dropped 0.8 percent in May, measured in constant, none-seasonal prices.

Shopping centres reached $1,19 billion in sales, 18.9 percent higher than the same month of 2010 and 0.3 percent higher than April 2011.
