Dockyard workers end blockade after 48-hour protest

Several spokespersons speaking on behalf of truckers, drivers and customs employees who had been staging a protest for more than 48 hours at the main port of Buenos Aires informed that they decided to suspend it. They were protesting against import barriers set up by Trade Minister Guillermo Moreno.

“We’re suspending the protest,” spokesman Raúl Vázquez informed.

The protest was also being staged in other ports in Zárate, Campána, Bahía Blanca and Rosario.
