Moyano meets with Scioli, ratifies resignation
Judiciary workers union head Julio Piumato confirmed the meeting took place and lasted two hours, although Scioli did not try to convince Moyano of rethinking his decision, sources said.
The meeting took place in the City offices of Banco Provincia, and along Scioli and Moyano, Buenos Aires province Cabinet Chief Alberto Pérez, lawmaker Omar Plaini and the new head of the provincial branch of the Justicialist Party, Cristina Alvarez Rodríguez participated.
A few days ago, the media reported rumours that Moyano was allegedly meeting with Scioli in order to formally resign to his post in the Justicialist Party, a decision he made last December 15th.
