Judge orders Freydoz be taken to psychiatric hospital
The judge in charge of the case of the death of former Rio Negro Governor Carlos Soria ruled that his widow, Susana Freydoz, the sole suspect, is taken to a mental health hospital in Cipolletti.
Judge Emilio Stadler ruled in response to Freydoz’s lawyer request, who considers “she is undergoing a profound depression which may put her life at risk and thus makes her hospitalization necessary.”
The wife of the late governor is expected to be taken to a Cipolletti hospital which specializes in mental health later today, from her sister’s home in Allen, she remains since her husband was shot to death on January 1st.
In order to make his latest ruling, Stadler took into account psychiatric reports of official forensic doctors and of Freydoz’s own layers, according to whom their client is aware of New Years’ day incidents and thus suffering a severe depression.
Former Rio Negro province Carlos Soria, who had been sworn on December 10th, 2011, died of a shot in the face in his bedroom in his private residence in the outskirts of General Roca. The only remaining person in he premises was his wife, Susana Freydoz.
