At least 90 injured after bus, tram and lorry collide in Bajo Flores

At least ninety people were injured, after a 76-line bus, a cement lorry and Premetro tram crashed into one another in Bajo Flores neighbourhood.
The accident occurred along Zuviría and Lafuente streets where firemen, and SAME paramedics were working to ensure victims were brought to safety. Meanwhile the Federal Police were at the scene investigating the cause of the crash.
Preliminary reports stated that the 76-line bus had been driving along Lafuente street when it crashed into a cement lorry, which then collided with a Premetro tram. At least ninety people are said to have been injured, head of SAME ambulance service Alberto Crescenti confirmed. No fatalities were reported at present.SAME paramedics and firemen were working in the area to assist those injured in the crash, with victims being sent to Piñero Hospital and other local hospitals to be treated.
The Premetro line is currently out of service until further notice.
The accident took place, just two days after the tragic train crash at Flores train station, which killed eleven people.
