'Cobos does not have clear morals,' says Cabinet Chief
Cabinet Chief Aníbal Fernández stated today that vice president Julio Cobos “is a man who does not have clear morals” and added that his final decision to participate in the October elections was “unforeseen.”
“Those who have dropped out cannot step up again. It was unthought-of that a man who does not have clear morals, put himself forward and also be praised for the possibility of being a candidate,” Fernández said during a radio interview when being questioned about Cobos’ decision to participate in this years elections.
“I’ve no reason to get involved with the opposition, but a man who bowed out three months in should not be made candidate,” he added.
