2010 National Census reveals population of 40,091,359

The 2010 National Census revealed the Argentine population to be of 40,091,359, showing a 10.6 percent increase compared to results of the 2001 census, Indec director Norberto Itzcovich explained.

The survey also indicated that there are 14,297,149 homes across the country, Mr. Itzcovich said during a press conference in Río Gallegos.
