'Want to be the opposition? Start your own political party,' Caló says to Moyano
The head of the metal workers’ union and pre-candidate to lead a new anti-Moyano labour confederation Antonio Caló, sent a straight message to the CGT’s boss and his political hopes for 2015: “if you want to be the opposition, then you have to start your own political party.”
Likewise, the steeler referred to the ongoing conflicts within the CGT labour Confederation: “There’s no need for an opposition CGT umbrella union as we [anti-Moyano unionists] are always open to talk in order to avoid a fracture of the CGT.”
Furthermore, Caló remarked that if Moyano refuse to negotiate a merge of the many different union movements, “we will all walk on our own paths for a while, but eventually we’ll get together.”
