"Here we are celebrating while going through a crucial moment for the world in which our dear President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner was present at the world’s most prestigious forums defending our sovereignty and our precious Malvinas Islands with the weapons of democracy.
But she [Fernández de Kirchner] also defended the economic sovereignty of our beloved country, telling the leaders of the world that is not with more cuts and austerity programmes that we’ll beat the crisis, but with solid job creation plans and more production. And this government has already created 5 million job posts.
The recipes recommended by some ones are the same that almost made our country disappear before one of the worse crisis of our history. Those recipes have already proved how wrong the current system is."
After the speech Boudou headed a civic-military parade at the Flag’s Monument located by the Paraná riverside in Rosario, where a commemorations acts included the one considered the world’s largest flag (24 kilometres) that was carried by thousands of volunteers. At the rally were also present National Deputies Agustín Rossi, Silvia Simoncini, Celia Arena, and Claudia Giaccone, among others.
