Randazzo calls Scioli, Macri to discuss City transport
After taking charge of the Transport Secretariat, which was yesterday transferred to the Interior Ministry, Florencio Randazzo called Buenos Aires province Governor Daniel Scioli and City Mayor Mauricio Macri to a meeting to discuss the creation of an tri-party organization to coordinate transport services in the Metropolitan area.
The meeting is set to take place on Friday at 11 am in Randazzo’s office, at the Government House.
The transfer of the Transport Secretariat from the Planning Ministry led by Julio de Vido to the Interior Ministry was announced on Wednesday by President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner and was published in the Official Gazzette today.
The Head of State ordered the creation of the tri-party organization to coordinate transport services in the Metropolitan area. The National and City government currently hold a dispute over the management of the subway.
