Aeroparque flights back to normal after dense fog

Traffic setbacks were registered along the cities main accesses including routes 2, 3, 8, 9, 12, 33 and 226.

Flights at the Aeroparque Metropolitan Airport resumed today after poor visibility caused by mist and banks of fog in Buenos Aires City caused traffic complications, flight delays and accidents thoughout the city.

By midmorning, air traffic authorities announced the halting of activities due to poor weather conditions at the metropolitan airport. A couple of hours later, airport authorities announced the service was back to normal as weather conditions improved.

Earlier today, traffic setbacks were registered along the cities main accesses including routes 2, 3, 8, 9, 12, 33 and 226. The Pan-American Highway also suffered traffic delays, after two trucks crashed.

One of the drivers was injured and assisted by Emergency services at the site. All lanes of the motorway were closed off to traffic causing major complications.
