Galuccio: ‘YPF will push through’

Miguel Galuccio has been names to head oil company YPF by President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.

The new president of oil and gas company YPF, Miguel Galuccio, said today that he feels “hugely proud” for being appointed his new position, while assuring that the petrol giant “will push through.”

“YPF is a very important company for me, something I love very much. I am confident that we will be able to hold a modern, competitive, professional firm, which at the same time will maintain a strong national sentiment," Galuccio expressed today. 

"I believe this will help Argentina in its energetic development,” the new company boss furthered, following a meeting with Entre Ríos Governor, Sergio Urribarri.

Galuccio was named the new head of the company yesterday evening by President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner in a ceremony held at the Government House.
