After midterm elections
Aníbal Fernández says he offered CFK his resignation and admitted 'we did something wrong'
The Justice Minister Aníbal Fernández today revealed in an interview to a local radio that he had also offered his resignation to President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner after the defeat in last Sunday's midterm elections.
He added he did so in the five minutes he was left alone with the president. "I thought offering my resignation was a sign of respect," he commented.
He admitted the government's defeat in the election: "Maybe if we had done things correctly, we could have won the election; we did something wrong and our responsibility is to amend it."
